The DNA for Longevity

Nutitional & Genetic Testing

Hormone Testing, Through Blood, Saliva and Urine Testing

The most accurate way to determine hormone levels is by blood. Blood tests can determine both the level of the free hormone and the amount of hormone that is bound to its carrier protein.

However, it is possible to use serum, saliva, and urine to assess a wide array of hormones. Each of these methodologies has advantages and limitations, and each has a best use. Sometimes a combination of tests will be necessary provide you with the most complete information.

Heavy-Metal Testing

Heavy metals can build up in our body in a cumulative fashion over time. Our body can retain heavy metals leading to toxicity from specific foods, amalgam/silver fillings in our mouth, certain environmental factors, and smoking to name a few.

Food Sensitivity and Candida Testing

By measuring food proteins, it is possible to identify which foods may be responsible for hard-to-define symptoms.

The 93 foods tested w/ Candida include representatives of major food groups common in the western diet.  Elimination of some foods can improve symptoms of irritable bowel syndrome, autism, ADHD, cystic fibrosis, rheumatoid arthritis, and epilepsy, according to numerous clinical studies.

Neurotransmitter Testing

Neurotransmitters are chemical messengers that our brain and nervous system used to transport information in between neurons. Optimizing neurotransmitter activity and balance as necessary to maintain proper health. Imbalances can be due to over production or under production of certain Neurotransmitters.

Microbiome Testing

We could be eating healthy foods but our bodies are rejecting them. At DNA wellness and longevity we look for specific food sensitivities. If they are present we correct them by healing the gut with our different leaky got protocols. Gut health is the key to overall vibrant health!

Intracellular Micronutrient Testing

Micronutrient testing can measure 31 vitamins and minerals, amino acids, fatty acids, antioxidants, and methylation function.

It is important to know what our body really needs  and what is lacking instead of just taking vitamins blindly. Nutrient deficiencies can lead to progression of disease, diabetes, neurodegenerative disease, chronic fatigue, hormone dysfunction, and many more.

Telomere Length Testing

Telomeres are sections of genetic material at the end of each chromosome whose primary function is to prevent chromosomal “fraying” when a cell replicates.

Testing should be done once per year to evaluate the rate and direction of telomere changes and make adjustments in nutrition, nutritional supplements, weight management, exercise and other lifestyle modifications known to influence telomere length.
